I am using Outlook for Mac to connect to a Microsoft Exchange Server (not O365). I used the instructions on Sync Asana + Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple | Product guide • Asana Product Guide to download the iCal file and sync w/ Outlook.
I noticed that the tasks get synced over , however, they block my Calendar as “busy” with the all day events generated by the tasks. This unintended outcome is completely cumbersome.
How can I cancel this sync ?
.
Hi @Agasthi_Kothurkar, thanks for reaching out!
You can remove a synced project from Outlook Calendar following these steps:
- Right click the Asana project’s name
- Select Remove
You can also update your Outlook settings so the events created from the Asana tasks are not automatically set as busy!
I hope this helps!
Thanks @Emily_Roman for the prompt response. I do not see the calendar to remove
Note that I am not using Office 365.
Thanks for getting back to me, @Agasthi_Kothurkar! If you click on “Other Calendars”, do you see more options?
No additional options are seen
