I currently use a separate project as a Marketing Content Calendar, where people in the company can view upcoming marketing activities (which are set as tasks with deadlines) in their Outlook Calendar.
The issue is the subtasks are syncing into the calendar view on Outlook, even though they are not assigned specifically to a project. The subtasks have deadlines assigned to them, they do not show up in the calendar view on Asana, but in my Outlook calendar it does. How can I remove the subtasks from Outlook for my team?

It absolutely doesn’t make sense that subtasks show in the synced calendar, but not the main calendar in the project.
Asana, please create a setting or at least be consistent with how you’re showing due dates on a calendar!

Upping this. Really would like a way to share the calendar with out the subtasks. We are looking to share the editorial calendar with staff, but they don’t need to see each subtask.
Any updates? Including subtasks makes calendar sync useless!

I would love the Asana team to jump on this. I have the same issue. I sync an organizational calendar project in Asana to Google calendar, and then share that calendar with many people outside the organization. I’d love to be able to share this calendar without cluttering it up with subtasks!
