Recurring tasks get completed daily, but they stick around permanently. There’s an option to only show “incomplete tasks”, but it resets when you leave the page and return. How can I set up a daily task that gets completed, and then gets taken off the list without needing to manually delete it every day?
Hi @Kellan_Paniccia, welcome to the Asana Community Forum ![]()
Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback ![]()
Currently, recurring tasks will stay in the “Completed tasks” section once completed, they will not be deleted automatically. Hopefully this is something we can implement for recurring tasks in the future! ![]()
Thanks for the prompt follow-up, Rebecca! I hope they can implement that soon, it looks like I’m not alone in this request ![]()
I just wanted to follow up with a suggestion here, @Kellan_Paniccia!
You can save your project layout to show incomplete tasks only, hiding the completed recurring tasks! You can follow the steps in the article below to save the layout:
- Click the three dot icon in your project toolbar
- Select Save layout as default
I hope this helps! ![]()
This is fantastic, thank you Rebecca! This will make my team’s life much easier ![]()
