I have a list of hundreds of tasks that are all set to recurring (different frequencies, and due dates all subject to change). Each task however has a dependency. The roadblock is when the task is marked completed and the new recurrence is populated
The dependency is gone
The due date is no longer set to be recurring
How do we maintain the task as is with each recurrence (keep dependencies and recurring date)
Hello @Justin_Davidson - I did a little bit of digger and testing. This is intended behavior for recurring tasks and dependencies. The reason for the disconnect happening is the new recurring task being created. The connection of the dependencies are there for the original task but once that task is completed, the dependencies is disconnected. Thank you for bringing this up, this is something I can forward to our team as a feedback suggestion for future updates.
Appreciate the response, would be great to see an update where the dependency can be maintained. It’s set as recurring for a reason, losing that point of reference on new occurrences is certainly less than ideal.
