I’d like to see dependencies become part of tasks that are set to recur. We use this platform to manage dozens of marketing clients and many of our tasks recur on a weekly or monthly schedule. They benefit from setting dependencies so we follow protocol in order to deliver final products. However, when you complete the task and it repopulates for the next due date, the dependencies to not carry over.
You could try to use Rules instead.
When task completed → Create task. And then you can pre-set dependencies.
It only works if you precisely control the workflow though, and you’ll need one rule per task…
