Recurring Task - Behaviour

Hi, May I confirm the actual behaviour of Recurring Task? Is it a case that:

1)The task from day 1 which was mark completed got automatically “undo-complete, reset due date” to become task of day 2

or

2)The task from day 1 which was mark completed got “archived” and duplicated (without comments)

This has been quite annoying because it affects my own system of using ASANA. So would love some clarification on this? I have some tech background so wouldn’t mind an extra deets. Thanks!

Nr 2 is correct - this is how Asana works in this case.
