Reassign project ownership when removing users

The current user removal process gives the option to create a new project with that person’s assigned tasks. However, any projects they were the only member of become orphaned, silently, with no warning, along with any unassigned tasks in those projects. There is no way (currently) to even see what those project were as a super-admin or reassign them unless the user does that before they leave, which is not always possible.

I realise there is another feature request regarding super-admin access to all project. That is no-brainer functionality in my view, but that’s not what this request is about. Here I’m asking that the removal process for users be improved so that as part of removing someone from our organization, it offers to reassign ownership of any projects or teams that would otherwise be orphaned, in a similar way to how it offers to create the new project with that person’s tasks. Ideally it would allow individual reassigning of each project/team, but simply assigning ownership of all of them to one user would be a significant improvement.

@Matthew_Carroll2 That sounds like a good idea!

Don’t forget to vote for it yourself.
