A read-only link should allow us to, at least, read, right? Well not according to Asana, who wants people login in to keep increasing your tier billing.
The explanation given: read only links are only for reading if you want to see the description or leave comments or edits you have to log in. Well, if I want somebody to read only, it is clear I don’t want them editing anything at all. So not I don’t need them leaving comments and edits, but sill they can’t read what the task is about. It sounds like a joke.
Lot’s of people use this app as a content calendar, not only agencies. How do I explain a company CEO or high level executive that he has to log in into this app if he want’s to see the copy’s for his personal linkedIn profile.
Even better, how do I tell the CFO that I have to pay an absurd amount of money a year only to be able to see short copys on a content calendar.
Btw this is something that can easily be done in any other tool available for free.
