Question re: rules for status updates

Hi Asana team,

Quick question: is it possible to create a rule whereby if someone publishes a project’s status update as being ‘at risk’ or ‘off track’, a new task is automatically created in a section in a specific 1:1 meeting so it can be discussed?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Best, Wietse

Hi,

At the moment rules apply on tasks within projects or My Tasks. We don’t have “project rules” just yet. I hope we do one day!

Thanks Sebastian! Yes this would really supercharge the status update. Our team files weekly status updates on the projects they manage. Would be really helpful if flagging a project ‘at risk’ automatically triggered a new task so it can be actioned upon, rather than flagging this manually as is the case now. We are just fully embracing the Asana magic

Are you aware of a suitable way to raise this as a development consideration?

I can turn your post into a Product Feedback if you’d like. This is the only way to share your opinion on what should be on the roadmap.
