Hello asana Community, in my Asana view are Projects that doesn’t belong too me anymore. I was in a Team with some Projects we were working on, after i left them they didn’t get away. I don’t want to see them anymore. It’s two Projects and one Portfolio. Can you help me?
Are you seeing them in the left sidebar under “Projects” there and that’s where you’d rather not?
Well, that area is more under Asana’s control because the only three choices for what you see in left sidebar Projects are these:
I recommend you collapse Projects there and drag it to the bottom of the left sidebar. Star the projects and portfolios you’re interested in seeing and they will appear under Starred there.
Thanks,
Larry
Okay, I hoped i can remove them from “Projects”. Thanky you, i will do it like you said.
I agree with this recommendation, in my opinion there really isn’t that many reasons to use the Project section in the side bar…
For this poster, and many others like him, I agree and make this recommendation.
But I know others who appreciate being able to toggle among projects they most recently used, or ones they use regularly, or even seeing an alphabetical list w/o having to recall which team they’re in.
Sure, but there is a Project Section in the side bar, so why not use it? I’m fine with lpb’s solution, but filtering it for your teams in the Project section wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Because its content is a bit unreliable and because it keeps changing, I feel like it uses up a lot of my energy every time I look at it. I’d rather have Starred items I control, or use the search (I use the search a lot). I only bounce between objects like for example from My Tasks I would navigate to a project from the task pane
