I created a Project Template with individual names and teams added to the member template.
When I converted a task to a project and applied this template, the individual names appeared correctly, but the teams I added aren’t showing up. Is this expected behavior, or am I doing something wrong?
I assumed that all members in the template (both individuals and teams) would be added as standard members when the project is created.
What you’re seeing is expected behavior. When a project template includes individual users as members, those users are typically added when the template is used. However, teams are not automatically added as project members when a project is created from a template or when a task is converted into a project using that template.
If you need a team to have access to the new project, you’ll need to add the team manually after the project is created.
