Have created several projects from our templates. They are there is I search however they are not appearing on the the team list.
Hi @Jo_Morris
It could be that the template saved was not properly configured to be under the said team.
You can edit the template, and go directly to Settings, and select the desired team to have an access to it.
Nope that’s not it. I use the template all the time. Like I said I can see it when I search but not in the team. Seems to be some sort of glitch
We have the same problem in my organization, it seems the API isnt working properly.
@Jo_Morris Is the team included as a member of the project? Only projects with the team as a member will now show up on the team’s “All work” page (I assume that’s the page you’re referring to when you say “team list”).
Yes this is an Asana glitch has only started happening recently but not one in team can see them but can search and access
I’m having the same issue. New projects (whether I use a template or not) are not being added to the Team — I just noticed it happened to all new projects that I’ve created in the last two weeks or so.
-I clicked “Send feedback” and reported as a possible bug.
-Edit: Added screenshots
Welcome, @jeremy.martinez,
This is working as expected after a change. See more at:

Thanks,

Hi @jeremy.martinez and welcome to the forum,
There’s no glitch or issue here; what you’re seeing is Asana’s new behavior. They have moved from a team being “a container for projects” to it being “a group of users”.
The “Associated team” field is not populated automatically as Asana considers it really just a legacy field for existing projects which have a value there.
Instead of using the Associated team, the new Asana model is to add the team as a member of the project. If you do this, the project will show on the team’s “All work” page.
This is a problem to just completely remove. Can you reconsider keeping the team field attached to templates as an option? We rely on this to ensure this is not a manual setting and that projects automatically flow to the right team members.
This is for sure related to the issue we are having in my organization, since yesterday: we cant’t add a new member to a project. (see New "access and share experience"? Since when? I can't share projects as I used to do, and this is very annoying!)
I am confused as to what you mean by adding “the team” as a member. I have every project working under Teams. When you mess up my entire page like this, you should let us know how to rectify it and get it back to working properly. I ended up creating the same project twice, and it is still not showing up.
To clarify, I don’t work for Asana; I’m just a user and volunteer here in the forum.
What I’m referring to is to click here:
and then add the team as a project member just like you would add an individual user:
In the above screenshot, you can see that I’ve added the team as a project member.
Does that make sense now?
That helps a lot. And I appreciate the walk through. Thank you!
