Project Scheduling in Timeline View

Hi,
Id like to use the Gantt chart feature to schedule our projects according to project phases, some important tasks and milestones so we have an overall view of the project schedule and target dates. I would then like to be able to map those onto a master schedule to see what our project load is, where we might have gaps, etc. Our projects typically last anywhere from six months to three years, and within each phase there are hundreds of smaller tasks with due dates that have to get done. So my question is what can I do to get a broad view of the overall timeline without all the hundreds of smaller tasks with deadlines gumming up my timeline view? And then how do I get an overall view of multiple projects at once?

Thanks for your help!!

Hi @Laura_Stein, welcome to the Asana Community forum :wave:t2:

You might find Portfolios helpful in this case

Portfolios provide a holistic view of specific projects in one place. You can view a Portfolio Timeline which will show Milestones from each project in that Timeline
