Project owner not notified when new task added via form submission

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
I am the owner and creator of a project (Premium account) that has tasks added via form submission. I am not receiving email notifications when a new task (form) is added. Other project members are.

My notifications are all on for the project. I receive emails when there are updates to tasks assigned to me, but should also be receiving them when a new task is added.

Steps to reproduce:
Create new project with a form and set yourself as owner
Submit form and set to add as new task
Wait for notification

Browser version:
Chrome version 92.0.4515.159 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi @anon15580930, thanks for sending the screenshot! This settings mean you should receive inbox notifications when tasks are added to the project, could you confirm if you see the notifications in your Asana inbox?

Since you are referring to email notifications, please note email notifications for tasks added to the project is available in the Activity Updates notifications. You can enable this option following these steps:

  • Click your profile picture
  • Select My Profile Settings
  • Access the Email Notifications tab
  • Tick the box to receive Activity updates via email
