Project not populated on the assigned subtask

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
when a subtask is assigned and task is part of a project, under my task of the assigned person you don’t see the project column populated

Steps to reproduce:

  1. create a task under a project.
  2. create a subtask and assign it to user1
  3. as user1 go to my task, configure the display to include projects column
  4. project field on the subtask will be blank

I’m afraid this is not a bug but the intended behavior. Many others have requested this behavior and you can vote on the topic (sorry, can’t find it offhand).
