My Tasks → Workflow → Rules
Steps:
- Add a rule that requires AI to run. I had one that said “if the task name is kitchen or trash or dishwasher or toilets, add it to the project named cleaning”. (AI is necessary because apparently I can’t use the task name as a trigger.)
- Run that rule (and anything else requiring AI) until you run out of credits
- Start receiving email every time the rule tries to run explaining that you are out of credits and need to call your admin to see if you can buy more credits
- Since you are the admin, owner, chief cook, and bottle washer, ignore your own requests to spend money on more credits
- Get annoyed at the email and return to the list of rules
- Discover that you can’t pause the rule, you have to delete it altogether, thus destroying your work
- Spend 10 minutes trying to find a way to give feedback.
Preferred path:
- Add a rule that requires AI to run. I had one that said “if the task name is kitchen or trash or dishwasher or toilets, add it to the project named cleaning”. (AI is necessary because apparently I can’t use the task name as a trigger.)
- Run that rule (and anything else requiring AI) until you run out of credits
- Receive an email explaining that you are out of credits and need to call your admin to see if you can buy more credits.
- Navigate to your rules and pause the offending rule(s), which prevents the rule(s) from running without destroying the work used to create them.
Preferred outcome:
Admin isn’t annoyed at loss of work.
