Outlook Add-in - Windows 10, no internet Explorer installed

I installed the outlook add-in last week but I received an error on use stating ‘Your version of internet explorer is not supported’.

I contacted support who asked what version of IE i had installed, as I had windows 10, I didn’t have it installed I had Edge instead (although I use chrome)

This was a very useful link to enable IE install in windows 10: https://www.techbout.com/install-internet-explorer-on-windows-10-12490/ it was time consuming as it required a complete restart

Once it was installed the add in worked great

Hope this can help someone else save a bit of time figuring it out
