Notify rule owners of broken rules

If a rule breaks, you’ll have to stumble upon the notification.

In addition to Find all broken rules? it would be convenient to get a notification of rules breaking, as you’d rather discover broken rules the moment they break as opposed to when you happen to open the project. Or worse: long after it should have executed.

The thing is, you sometimes receive one but not always :sweat_smile: and it comes by email, not in the inbox

Curious to learn what drives this behaviour.

Maybe it’s also a good idea to:

  • give a warning like “deleting this field will break rules x,y,z”
  • maybe even prevent the action alltogether, so that one is forced to adjust or remove the rule(s) before doing the thing that would break them.
  • notify the person breaking the rule AND the rule owner
