Only show rule notifications for current project

I would prefer it if you only got rule notifications in the bottom left corner that apply to the project I’m looking at, rather than showing it for all projects if a task is multi-homed.

Describing the situation I’m experiencing below:

  • Our team uses the same custom fields across multiple projects. We’ll use “project status” in this example.
  • If I’m working in one project and update the project status field, I would prefer it only shows the rules that are running on that project. But currently, if the task is multi-homed anywhere else, I get notifications for all the other rules that are running on other projects that relate to that same field change. Even if these projects don’t apply to me, and I never look at them.
  • The issues I have with this are that 1. it can be overwhelming and distracting to get so many popup notifications. 2. as the owner of the rules on my project, I get nervous seeing these additional notifications because it makes me think that someone has adjusted or added other rules that shouldn’t be there, and then I have to go and check the customization section to confirm.

I do not know if this technically possible but I fully agree with the premise that there are far to many notifications.

Hi @Alex_Olmstead,

This may not have rolled out to you, yet but this is in progress.

It has, but it is far from a solution!

Agree. I would definitely still want it to only notify about rules on the project I’m working in so that it’s easy to see if something is running that shouldn’t be.
