Notifications not Appearing in Email inbox

A colleague on my team has all their notification boxes checked in Asana to receive notifications in their Outlook inbox. They’ve received them for previous projects, but on the latest projects that they have created they aren’t being notified. In particular, when a new task has been added to the project. Has anyone else experience this issue? Or any suggestions for how to resolve it? Thanks!

I’m assuming you are referring to these notifications being set correctly from the user’s profile:

By chance does this user not have the “tasks added” member notifications set at the project level (as seen below)?
