New tasks from mobile app not showing in main asana website

summary: adding new tasks in the mobile APP create ‘hidden’ tasks that do not show in the desktop website version. Also, these tasks are not visible to anyone, so they think you are crazy when you tell them “its in asana!” lol…

Steps to reproduce:
Log into the APP - [Android]
Add a new task to a workspace that has multiple projects
Log into the Desktop version of Asana [chrome]
try to find the task…

Browser version:
Google Chrome is up to date
Version 86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi @Christian_Zagarskas, thanks for reaching out and sharing the video!

I had a look and I confirm this is currently working as expected. When you create task on mobile from the quick add icon, you have the option to add the task to a specific project, tap to add an Assignee or Due Date and more. If you don’t add the task to a project, it will be automatically private, assign to you and you will be able to find it in your My Tasks list.

As it stands, it’s currently not possible to automatically add new tasks to a project but you can select the project you want to add the task when you create it.
