When using the Asana App, I’m trying to switch it from private to public. are we unable to do this on through the app?
It’s annoying to have to go back onto my laptop and make it public for my staff to see my progress with tasks.

Are you referring to a task being public or private? Or a project?

Sounds like you’re referring to project notifications @jessika_baker; and if so you’re correct, it is not possible to modify them via our mobile app just yet!
