I have read that My Tasks auto promote from later to upcoming to today and mine are NOT doing that…is there something I need to toggle on in my account? I have looked everywhere!

“My Tasks” has been updated - auto-promote has been replaced by your ability to create your own rules as to how you’d like tasks to move between sections.
Do you have a “Board” view option in your My Tasks view? If so, then you have the new updated My Tasks. If you do, then you can read how to create those rules here:
Unfortunately I don’t have that upgrade on my account but some of my colleagues do and I am frustrated because I don’t know how much longer I need to wait for it.
They are in the process of rolling it out to all users, so you shouldn’t have to wait too much longer!
