Once I complete a task, I check the check mark. Then, it is removed from the project. Is it possible to keep the task visible (instead of disappearing) and showing completed at the same time?

Update: To everyone who is confused about the gear selection. Step 1: Look at the top right side of the screen and locate incomplete task Step 2: Click the incomplete task Step 3: Click on ALL task How you can view all of the completed and incomplete tasks! [image]

I can’t set the same for subtasks within a task. They are gone somewhere I am unable to find. @Marie Can you help me with that.

Hi @Jnanaranjan_Sahu! Sounds like your subtasks were not associated with their parent task project, before completing your subtasks, make sure to add them to their project following these steps: How to Create and Use Custom Fields in Asana | Product Guide • Asana Product Guide

I understand that. Can I somehow see those tasks or they are gone forever?

If yo have access to the Advanced Search you should be able to locate them with the follwoing query: [55] If you don’t have access to the Advanced Search try typing in your search bar some keywords that you know are included in these subtasks title; this is a lot more manual, but should allow you to located your completed subtasks.

It used to be possible to change the view to include “incomplete tasks and tasks completed within the past X days.” Did this feature go away? It was always the most useful view for projects with rolling agendas we use to talk through current and recently-completed tasks.

In that way, I believe it did. I just go to the panel on the left-hand side and click ‘All Tasks’ which is located under the favorites section… There you will find a list of all tasks including completed ones. Hope that helps.

When I click a task as completed, it dissapears. I prefer it to stay but checked as completed. Is that possible?

Hey @Paul_de_Zeeuw, thank you for your question and welcome to the Asana Forum! This is absolutely possible, you can easily achieve this by simply changing the Project View to include “All Tasks”. Please find here a screenshot to show how this can be done: [26] You can also find this in our Guide here. Just to let you know, I have merged your question with an existing thread to avoid duplicates and make it easier for new users to find this question. I hope this helps, have a great weekend!

Yes Patrick, This was a great feature. You could see your progress on daily basis but now it’s gone. I really like to bring this back. Do you know where we can propose to bring this back?

It used to be possible to change the view to include “incomplete tasks and tasks completed within the past X days” in My Tasks tab not in projects. Did this feature go away? This helped me see my daily progress while in My Tasks tab. I could see that I have completed 5 or 6, 8 tasks. This view was encouraging for me and gave me a sense of progress. I know I can do this by doing a search but that is not the same thing because in My Tasks tab I can always see new tasks coming in instantly, I can also create sections and so on. But I cannot do this using search. Again, I am not talking about projects. Thanks.
