Once I complete a task, I check the check mark. Then, it is removed from the project. Is it possible to keep the task visible (instead of disappearing) and showing completed at the same time?

Update: To everyone who is confused about the gear selection. Step 1: Look at the top right side of the screen and locate incomplete task Step 2: Click the incomplete task Step 3: Click on ALL task How you can view all of the completed and incomplete tasks! [image]

Awesome - thanks. Just getting started but loving Asana! Just getting boss to upgrade…… Cheers Maggi

I was about to open a misleading thread titled ‘“Some” tasks are not added to another project’. :scream: I think ‘View All Tasks’ rather than ‘Incomplete Tasks’ should be the default. Completed tasks are already easily distinguishable by the leading check image and the alpha of the title text, aren’t they?

When I mark a task as complete, it zooms off my list and goes where? I would like to see them…

In the upper right corner of the task list, click on the “Change View” icon; then you can select to see Incomplete Tasks, Complete Tasks, or both: [image]

once a task is marked complete, where does it go? how do I get it back?

Hi @Nadine_Kuveke_Fite Once Tasks are marked complete, they will no longer be in view, though remain a part of your project. You are able to view those Tasks, by adjusting the sort filter for that Project. Click the sort filter/change view button in the upper right and select “Completed Tasks” to view all your completed Tasks. I’ve attached a screenshot of this to help guide you in this process. [30%20AM] Another way you’re able to take advantage of this, if you have a premium plan, is by using advanced search. Hope this helps!
