Hi guys,
My boss and I love Asana but were having a hard time reviewing old comments from a completed and re-occurring task. I know that every time a reoccurring task is set to complete, it recreates a new task but without the previous comments.
So I just wondering if there’s a way to keep the comments to the next task. I know Basecamp is good at this keeping all of the things in one task altogether.
This is indeed not the way a re-occurring task works in Asana. My intuition is that in your case you want to deal with the same task, so why not keep the same task and manually do the re-occurence by changing the due date? You can also use the Rules for this, by having a custom field “status” and when changed to “Done”, change the due date to X days in the future
