Is there a way to retain comments for recurring tasks? When we complete tasks with comments, we lose the history of comments as the initial task is completed and a new one is created as duplicate sans comments. We would like to keep our comment history and wondering if that is possible.
I know this question has come up before, but all forum posts are a couple of years old. Thought it was worth broaching the subject again.

I’ve re-titled your post (hope it’s ok) and moved to Product Feedback where you and others can click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the purple Vote button.
To be clear to those reading, the comment history is not actually lost; it’s just that it’s kept in the completed task, and not carried over anew to the next recurrence as requested.

Sorry to come in all grumpy-pants with my first post, but it is so disappointing that this is still not an option. Asana is a fantastic tool, and this is my only problem with it. But it’s a huge problem. Please don’t make me choose crappy Click-up.
Not sure if anyone has found a good workaround for this yet, but I would really love it if Asana made this possible!
would love to know any workarounds as well…this seems like a no brainer to have a toggle on and off button to keep or not
