Asana now supports unified notifications for Microsoft Teams. Enterprise users can receive the same notifications in Teams as they do in Asana Inbox and take quick actions like replying to comments or creating follow-up tasks—all without leaving Teams. This update aligns notifications across Microsoft Teams, Slack, email, and Asana Inbox, offering a seamless experience and enabling faster cross-platform experiments.
Is this applicable to all Asana subscriptions? I’m not seeing that option in My Settings for some reason (still only the Slack one). Tried in browser and desktop app.
@Julio_V my asana notification settings have the “Microsoft Teams notifications” option but others in my org do not. They have downloaded the Asana app in teams and still aren’t seeing this option in their Asana notifications. Do you know why that is?
Even, when the connection is made with Teams (inbox sync, the right account, Enterprise, multiple refresh…), the notifications remain “greyed-out” in my Asana.
Do you have an idea why?
Has anyone an example where that is working properly from the Asana settings panel?
Remark: Teams also offer similar configuration from their end (choosing the events triggering the notif), but now I’m curious to know if the Asana config panel is functional
