As a Group PM Lead at Asana, I look forward to working with you to change the perceived reality of “why you should NEVER use subtasks in Asana” as we dedicate resources to fixing as many of these issues as possible in the current and upcoming planning cycles

It is MUCH faster to use the toggle to expand subtasks and see key info at a glance, rather than (1) clicking into the task, (2) scrolling to the subtasks in the details view,

Here’s a shortcut: click the subtasks icon to eliminate (2) above; I use this many times daily and the savings add up! I also use that icon as a shortcut when I need to navigate directly to the end of the Description field; just click it and then it’s directly above your location; I use that many times daily too, for Descriptions that are logs.
