Hi,
Here is what I believe is a UX bug.
In the CSV importer, when you click on âIgnore columnsâ you are presented with a list of columns TO INCLUDE. That is really confusing. Should I fill a bug @Marie @Emily_Roman ?

Hi @Bastien_Siebman,
I believe this is intended - If you select this option you can ignore some or all of the columns, giving you more flexibility than including or ignoring all columns!
I know, I am challenging the wording. âIgnore columnsâ â I expect to select what to ignore, not what to showâŠ
@Bastien_Siebman makes a valid point with the naming. However, I do appreciate the way it is. I would prefer to see a count of columns ignored vs included (which isnât shown in Bastienâs example because all columns were used, but see below). The fact that the subtext states: âselect columns to importâ should clear up any confusion.
Oh, I see! Sorry I missed your point in the first place! I agree with Jerod though, the select columns to import should clear up any confusion
Still not convinced but thatâs fine. Have a nice weekend everyone!
@Marie and @Bastien_Siebman,
I suggest the team consider this simple UX change:
Ignore columns
use Select columns
3 columns ignored
use 6 of 9 columns selected
