I wish working with two accounts was as seamless as it was before account split

Last week, Asana prompted me to separate my work and personal accounts as explained here: https://help.asana.com/hc/en-us/articles/18180556865563-Asana-account-email-policy

This diagram from that post is my exact situation:

I’m fine with the new policy – sounds like a good change – but it also made accessing my two workspaces (Personal and Company) much more difficult.

Previously, I could have links to both my personal and company tasks anywhere and they would just work (clicking on them would display a task) while after the migration, I often see a screen like this:

When I click the button, I’m not even taken to the exact same view as the original link was (the trailing .../f was removed in my case) but in either case, this is much less seamless than it was before.

It must be doable because Google links works fine if I’m signed in to multiple Google accounts (e.g., my personal Gmail account and a Google Workspace account for work) – my personal links open immediately, as they the work ones, there is no explicit button to switch from one account to another. I wish Asana implemented this now that I have been forced into the account split (which, again, I see as a good thing).

@Borek_Bernard, Great idea; I’ve run into this too. Please remember to vote with the purple Vote button at the top, as I just did.

Thanks,

Larry

I’m hitting this multiple times a day :face_holding_back_tears: I really hope this will improve.
