I removed several previous staff members and now I’m unable to find their projects to make sure they are picked up by another staff person. I usually reassign all of a person’s projects to myself before making any changes but didn’t do that this time. I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to find them after removing the person.

Maybe you don’t have access, so if another user at your organization does, maybe they could help you?
Otherwise you could try support@asana.com and see if they can help.

You deprovisioned them from the Admin console? and did not ask to have a project created?
