I have a list of birthdays and I want to make them the due date for completion as a reminder to call them and wish them a happy birthday.

In native Asana, you’ll have to do that manually. In List view, make sure both Due date and Birth Date columns are showing side-by-side, then manually update each one.

Otherwise, a third-party tool could help, like make.com or perhaps flowsana.net (@Phil_Seeman?)

You could build a Flowsana rule to set the task due date to the value of the Birth Date field, but the rule would need to have some change made to each task in order to fire the rule. That makes it probably a not-very-great solution.
