How would you recommend going about time blocking?

Hi Everyone,

I’m looking at using a weekly calendar to plan out my week. I wasn’t sure what recommendations you would have for doing this. I was thinking about integrating google calendar to Asana. I wasn’t sure if this is the best way or just manually block time instead.

What are your thoughts with time blocking?


Do you want to block it for yourself to avoid assigning task to yourself at this times, or block others from assigning things to you?

I wish it would block time for myself, but when I integrated the calendars it only made daily ‘all day’ events. I instead had to create additional blocked time in Gcalendar outside of Asana as a reminder to review/complete things.
