I’ve tried removing the unwanted custom fields from every project in list view. I’ve tried creating task templates with only the three active custom fields that we want. But every task - either existing or new (created with the template or not) have all of our custom fields. How do we remove the ones we don’t want anymore from all of our projects?

There is a suble difference between:
- Removing a custom field from a project view (toggle visibility through Options)

Removing a custom field form a project (disconnecting it through Remove from project)

Deleting a custom field entirely (through Edit field > Delete field)
The thing to remember is that deletion (throwing the thing away entirely) should always show up in red in the interface. If it’s not red, you can expect it is only disconnecting or hiding it in some way.
