Filter out completed tasks in sub-task view

@Maria_Johnson,

The Filter for Incomplete tasks works similarly in List and Board views.

In Board view, setting this:

Results in hiding completed subtasks. There are actually two subtasks here, one completed:

Thanks,

Hi Larry,
Thanks for your response! My concern is that on the Board view, you only see a snippet of the subtasks unless you open the task details. And, in this view, the completed subtasks still appear even with the filter.

I will just switch to the checklist view to view any incomplete tasks. Thanks again!

Thanks; it sounds like List view will better suit your needs.

It seems like we’re experiencing different results here, based on my last post.

Thanks,

Larry

Just checking in to see if there is any update that anyone has seen on getting this issue solved?

This is an annoyance for me too - would love to see this feature

I would also like to see this.

+1 to this. We use subtasks a lot and have our main view filtered to only show incomplete tasks. When we open a ticket with a lot of subtasks that have been completed, we often have to expand the list several times to get to the tasks that are still open.

Never mind, this is available now in the task details pane. This should probably be marked as the solution rather than the workaround marked as the solution earlier.

@Forum-team, Can you mark this topic as launched?

Thanks,

Larry

I just checked, and this is what it looks like now:

• List view (no view filter)

• List view (with view filter)

• Task Details View

• Board view 1 (no view filter)

• Board view 2 (with view filter)

This feature is now available! You can learn more in the post below:
