Estimated time not rolling up or showing up in Workload/Portfolio view

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
Estimated time assigned to someone, in a subtask with a due date, is not rolling up in Portfolios or Workload view. The estimated time is not showing at all, it is zeroed out, but the task still appears in the expanded view of Workload. If I go into the project and look, the time is there.

Steps to reproduce:
Go to a project in a portfolio, add a task with three subtasks, assign and add a due date to the main task and three subtasks. Add estimated time to all three subtasks. Go to the portfolio and click on Workload, find the date the tasks are due for the assignee, and they do not appear. If you click to expand, the main task shows up with the subtasks nested, but there is NO time showing in the main task or subtasks. Click into the project view and the time appears.

Hi @Liv_Tillema and thanks for that very detailed report.

However, when I look at your portfolio screenshot, I have the feeling that you are trying to roll-up the “Actual time” (and not the “Estimated time”).
Those are 2 different fields.

Could that explain part of the issue ?

I have the same issue - in Portfolio I can select Roll Up for estimated time. But that option is not available for Actual Time.

It’s happening with projects that have that field as well, and solely that project even if I were to make a new portfolio. Are you having the same issue?

I just solved it for me, when adding the field in Portfolio you need to add it and go to add the field, then the add roll up Tab. That was my issue.

Hi there @Liv_Tillema, can you please confirm if this issue is still persisting on your end? Thanks!

Still having the issue where it says “field is not available on this project”, but I noticed it goes away if I unhide the field from main visibility in a project, add 1 minute of time to estimated/actual.
