Error forwarding emails as BCC

I’ve started a new way of working that involves forwarding certain emails to Asana so I can manage them more effectively. What I do is send them to my tasks by adding the email x@mail.asana.com as a BCC.

The task is created correctly, but every time I receive an email saying that the recipient of the original email couldn’t be added as a collaborator because they’re not an Asana teammate.

I already know it can’t add them, and I didn’t want it to anyway — what I’d like is to disable those notifications.

@Enric_Moreno,

The way the feature works in Asana, and how it’s documented, is that you should be using to: not bcc: for this.

I don’t know of any way to disable the notifications on Asana’s end, but perhaps you could specify a filter in your email app to route these away from your email inbox to achieve a workaround, if helpful.

Thanks,

Larry
