I created a project, added team members, and am following every single task. I noticed that i don’t get emailed when there are comments on tasks, it only goes to my Inbox on Asana. My email notification in the Inbox are on. Is there a way to get emails about comments?

The notification you are referring to is called an “Activity” notification and if your following the task in question, you should definitely receive a notification both in your Inbox and by email.
Can you make sure that “Activity” Notifications are enabled for your Workspace Organization?
