Creating a task from an email sent by my CRM

Hello!
We’d like to automate the creation of tasks sent by our marketing automation and CRM tool (ONTRAPORT). The problem is that emails from our Ontraport account have an envelope sender of ontramail.com which doesn’t match our from address - though both are properly authenticated using SPF and DKIM.

Is there any way around this restriction (perhaps Asana can approve email addresses for specific use cases like this)? We’d like to avoid the need to also pay for a Zapier integration to make the two systems talk to each other. Let us know!

@Brendan_Dubbels, If I recall, others have solved this by having the tool send its emails to one of your Asana users’ email accounts, and use a forwarding rule there to send to the Asana project.

That is a great solution, thank you!
