Create subtask from attachments

Hi,

Here’s a suggestion to take to product development of Asana. It would be great if I could right click on an image or any asset attached to a task and create a subtask for that task with the image/asset. A number of times I get tasks that the person attaches an image and I have to ask another team member to resize said image. This feature I think would be great to disseminate subtasks to a team that is working on one task. Or is there a feature that does this that I don’t know about?

@Ron_Atienza - have you tried the proofing functionality? It allows you to click on uploaded images and provide feedback in a subtask.

Thanks for the input @Stephen_Li I did try the proofing functionality, I guess it’s the closest thing but when you create the subtask the image attachment that it references doesn’t seem to be attached also on the subtask. It is only visible in the “All activity” tab view of the comments, which the person assigned to the subtask might not see.

@Ron_Atienza,

Don’t forget to click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the purple Vote button.

Thanks,

Larry
