Converting license to view-only:

We want to lower our paid license count, and one option we are looking at is converting some rarely used seats to view-only. I have a couple of questions about this:

  1. Would moving someone to view-only remove any tasks, comments, or projects that mention, were created by, or were assigned to that person? Or would those remain as a historical record?

  2. Asuming the data was saved, say that same person later had a need to be active on Asana and we added back their license, would they then see all old tasks assigned to them as well as project and comments they created?

Note: We have an Enterprise account

HI, @Dave_McFarland1 .

Switching between standard licenses and View Only Licenses can be easily done in the administrator console.
The license type and what you can do will change, but the license will not be completely different.
So I don’t think the things you’re worried about will happen.
