Hi all,
I’m really struggling to find a way to set up Asana for construction projects. Everything I’ve tried just gets very complicated and overwhelming.
At present I have separate projects for every lead that comes into the pipeline, that we set-up from a ‘LEADS’ template with all the tasks required to get it to the point of going to contract within the template. We have a birds eye view of all the separate lead projects through portfolios.
We do much the same for when the lead becomes an ac…

I work as warehouse manager / IT with my company and for every job sold I have to buy and track all the product that isn’t supplied by vendors. At first I made a separate project for each job but it was getting tedious to flip back and forth between 15+ projects so I condensed it all down to one project and thought I would share how I did it!

Hi,
My team and I work in the construction industry, engineering to be exact. Whenever we get a new project it is ever easy for us to use asana for this. However, when we get an updated drawing from the architect is poses a challenge for us to know how best to let the team know where on our server to find the said update. There are no two-person doing the same thing given we have electrical, civil, and mechanical engineers in the office.
Our current setup is that task is assigned base on engi…

Hey everyone,
I’m a contractor and the owner of a construction company, and I’ve been using Asana as our management platform. It’s been fantastic for organizing tasks and assigning different teams to our projects effectively.
However, the main hurdle I’m currently navigating is data integration. Ensuring seamless integration of data across various project aspects has been a bit of a challenge.
If anyone else in the community uses Asana for managing construction projects and deals with construction estimation , I’d love to hear your experiences. How have you tackled data integration issues related to estimation? Any tips or tools you recommend to streamline this process?
Looking forward to your insights!
Best Regards,
Emily
