Comparing estimated hours V's Actual Hours

Am I hitting my head against a wall here?

Every client we talk to wants to compare in their dashboard estimated hours V’s actual hours. Why is this impossible, am I doing something wrong. This is a project management tool, and it is fundamental that users can create data on these two points.

Someone tell me I’m wrong here and show me the light. Customers are just scoffing at the fact that this is not standard procedure and functionality.

What about creating two identical charts but each one using a different field? Unless you are referring to Workload?
