Really struggling with Estimated vs Actual Time

I’m really trying to get some detailed dashboard charts which help us compare Estimated vs Actual time spent by month and/or project.

Ideally, we’d use stacked bar charts by project or month. I can do this with completed status and number of tasks, but estimated vs actual hours is more helpful.

I’m told this can’t be done, and that one should create two separate bar charts, one with estimated time and the other with actual time.

Ok – so I created one for each, and figured it might be nice to make those as bar charts and grouped by a custom select field we created called “service” — I can do this for Estimated hours, but not Actual hours … which seems odd to me…

^ This is good

So why can’t I make the same thing and select “Actual” instead of “Estimated”?

Could really use this feature as well in our org. Not being able to report on Estimated vs Actual in a succinct way half defeats the purpose of logging Actual Time.
