Comment only remains on task after it is removed from the project?

Good afternoon,

I have a colleague who added me as a collaborator to a task in her project which is comment only.

She has indicated that she has since removed the task from this project so that I can route it to my project but it is still showing as comment only and I can’t do anything with it.

Does anyone know how to remove the comment only so that I can work with the task?
