🗂️ Collapsible headings are now live in Pages

Hi Asana Community :waving_hand:

If your Pages have grown into long, scroll-heavy docs, this one is for you. You can now collapse headings in Pages to tuck away the sections you don’t need right now and keep the rest of the page in view. It’s live now, so you can try it on any Page you can access.

Collapsing works on Heading 1, 2, and 3. A Heading 2 hides everything until the next Heading 1 or Heading 2, so the structure you already built does the work for you. The heading always stays visible, and nothing is deleted. The content is just tucked away.

Your view is your own. Collapsing is local, so other people still see the full page, and your collapsed sections reset when you reload. Anyone with access to a Page, including commenters and viewers, can fold and unfold headings. If a search or a comment takes you into a collapsed section, that section opens automatically.

The request in Expand and collapse headings in Pages asked for exactly this, and you voted and shared how you use long Pages. Thank you, we heard you :raising_hands:

Have you tried collapsible headings yet? How are you using them to keep long Pages tidy? Share your tips in the comments below

Great to see how quickly this was rolled out!

Would be great to also have a ‘save view’ if there is a standard format that you want to upkeep overall for what is collapsed, and what is on view when you land on the page

This has been great for those longer pages where you’ve got recurring meeting notes. I do with there was an option (maybe per page level if necessary) for the collapsed state to be saved between loads.

@Emily_Roman Absolutely in love with what I’m seeing! Any chance this is coming to all text areas, like descriptions, comments, and text custom fields?
