Can't access Asana links after uninstalling Desktop App

Hi everyone,

One of my colleagues reported that few days ago she uninstalled the Desktop App because she was missing tabs so it’s easier working from Google Chrome. Now every time she clicks in an Asana link (Calender, Slack,…) she’s redirected to this window (screenshot attached).

She’s sure she has uninstalled the app completely so we don’t really know what to do.

Hi @Lucia_Araluce, thanks for reporting this issue and sorry for the trouble! Could you please follow these steps to try to solve this issue?

  • Access app.asana.com
  • Click your profile picture
  • Select “My Profile Settings”
  • In the Apps tab, toggle off “Open links in app”

This should make all links to open in browser instead of the desktop app. Let me know if this works!
