Automating or exporting task details as "release notes"

I am using a project board with lanes like In Process, Approval Needed, Ready for Release, and Done etc to track task execution. I’d like to create release notes with info about the tasks that are marked Done within a defined time period, like week. The notes would pull from fields that are built into the tasks, such as the task Name and Description.

Is there an easy way to export these details?

You can create an Advanced Search report and then export it. You can add different parameters and if you save your report you can also access it again if needed.

You could consider using Asana2Go (disclaimer: I’m the creator) to create release notes as you describe directly, or via CSV export. More info at:
