Automated notifications whenever a customer is "complete"

I’m working as Customer Success Manager and want to create automated notifications/tasks to remind myself to reach out to the customers

The problem Im trying to fix is that we have our customer pipeline in asana. And whenever a customer is “complete” i want to be reminded every 6 month after that task (customer) was completed so that we can reach out to them if they need anything from us.

I was thinking if there is a way to create a rule where:

Whenever I complete a task >
Then > the rule creates a new task that has a deadline 6 months after the firs task was completed. And whenever that task is completed it creates a new task with another 6 months based on the 2nd task and so on…

Rules can’t create recurring tasks. I would suggest having the rule create the next 3 tasks, and a 4th one “Create next recurring tasks” or something like this.

OR create a subtask for the next update and another one called “Make other subtask recurring” assigned to an assistant…

Is there a reason you can’t use recurring tasks, specifically:
